Douglas G. Day, M.D.
Principal Investigator- Atlanta
Dr. Douglas Day is extensively involved in clinical research
projects with Coastal Research Associates. Dr. Day is very
active in the advancements of new medications for glaucoma.
He has published numerous papers on new glaucoma
medications as well as the advancements in glaucoma. Dr.
Day is involved with the Robert N. Shaffer Glaucoma Society
and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Day completed his graduate work at the University of
Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Day remained in
Texas, where he completed his internship at the University of
Texas. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the
University of Arizona, Tucson and the University of Illinios, Eye
and Ear Infirmary, Chicago. Dr. Day's fellowship in glaucoma
was completed at the University of California School of
Medicine, San Francisco.
